WATCH: Brawl Involves Raiders Fan Swinging Helmet At Dallas Player

(Yahoo!)OXNARD, Calif.  In a joint training camp practice between two NFL teams, it's hard to avoid a fight or two. You just don't expect a fan to get involved.

During Tuesday's practice between the Raiders and Cowboys, Dallas cornerback Morris Claiborne put a big hit on tight end Mychal Rivera. Raiders receiver Greg Little came over to hit Claiborne, and the fight was on. Teams from both sidelines came to the area on the sideline where the battle was. In terms of a football practice fight, it was no big deal.

But it happened right next to a section that contained mostly Raiders fans, and one took a full-sized replica helmet and swung it at Cowboys cornerback B.W. Webb. Webb responded by giving a hard shove to the fan. Luckily the situation didn't escalate. Here's a Vine video from Channel 5 in Dallas' coverage (Webb is wearing No. 20):

Webb told USA Today's Lindsay Jones that he wasn't aware it was a fan he went at. Webb explained the situation to CSN Bay Area:

“I wasn’t expecting that, but whoever jumped on my back, I had to get them off,” Webb said, according to CSN Bay Area. “It might have turned a little worse over there, but emotions were up, intensity was up. I didn’t go over there with intentions to hurt anybody or anything like that.”

At this point, it's probably safe to say two things about the incident: Fans should never be trying to get involved like this, and the NFL is probably lucky that nothing major came from this moment.
